Photographer, producer and editor.
He has had solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania, participated in art fairs in Lisbon, Miami, New York, Madrid, and Santander, won first prize at the 7th edition of the Coruche Biennial, and published several photography books.
His artistic work is based on the intersection of different domains such as painting and literature, and he is ultimately interested in exploring the idea of photography’s “no borders.”
He is represented in private collections in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, and Romania, and in the following institutional collections: MUDAS – Madeira Museum of Contemporary Art, Lisbon City Council, Neo-Realism Museum, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Art Library, Serralves Library Collection, Coruche Municipal Museum, and Casa da América Latina (Lisbon).
He is represented by Salgadeiras Arte Contemporânea in Lisbon, Galería Caicoya in Oviedo (Spain), and is a guest artist at H’art Gallery in Bucharest (Romania).
