For its participation in Just Lx — Lisboa Contemporary Art Fair, Galeria das Salgadeiras presents a curatorial proposal centered on Silence, featuring works by Eva Díez, Cláudio Garrudo, and Teresa Gonçalves Lobo. The works on display, all recently produced, were selected by Ana Matos, the gallery’s director and curator, who, extending the proposal into poetry, conceived “From That Place Which Is Silence.”

Thus, alongside the photographs of Eva Díez and Cláudio Garrudo, and the drawing by Teresa Gonçalves Lobo, a stanza by Maria Teresa Horta is included — not in the sense of a descriptive illustration of the word, but rather as visual allegories that resonate within the words of this contemporary Portuguese poet. An exhibition, though modest in scale and situated within the context of an art fair, invites the visitor to an experience shaped by both image and word.
