We present “The Game of Logic,” a curatorial proposal that draws on Lewis Carroll’s book of the same name and places recent works by these three artists in dialogue. In this exhibition, propositions, symbols and their meanings, nouns, and instruments take on another nature, intersecting in a game of logic that Cláudio Garrudo, Rui Horta Pereira, and Rui Soares Costa seem to propose and invoke.

Authors of a highly distinctive lexicon, they have developed different formal approaches within their respective fields of expression, merging other territories that lead them from photography to painting, from drawing to sculpture, or from drawing to Philosophy. Each of them transports us down the rabbit hole, into Alice’s magical labyrinth, where logic and reason assume other formalities.
