Daniela Krtsch works primarily with painting, creating suspended dialogues and narratives inspired by memories and experiences, through which she explores the intersecting spheres between reality and fiction.
She has exhibited regularly since 2000, notably in Lisbon, Paris, Barcelona, Athens, and London. In 2002, she received a grant from Caixa Geral de Depósitos; and in 2003, she represented Portugal at the “Young Creatives Biennial” in Athens.
Her work is represented in collections such as the State Contemporary Art Collection (Portugal), the Deutsche Bank Collection, the PLMJ Collection, the Carlos Mimoso and Isabel Mendes Collection, the Glimpse Collection, the Gonçalo Lima and Rita Talhas Collection, the Navacerrada Collection, among others.
