Daniela Krtsch works primarily with painting, creating suspended dialogues and narratives inspired by memories and experiences, through which she explores the intersecting spheres between reality and fiction.
She has exhibited regularly since 2000, notably in Lisbon, Paris, Barcelona, Athens, and London. In 2002, she received a grant from Caixa Geral de Depósitos; and in 2003, she represented Portugal at the “Young Creatives Biennial” in Athens.
Her work is represented in collections such as State Contemporary Art Collection (Portugal), Deutsche Bank Collection, PLMJ Collection, Carlos Mimoso and Isabel Mendes Collection, Glimpse Collection, Talhas Coutinho e Lima Collection, Navacerrada Collection, among others.
