Fátima Frade Reis presents the solo exhibition “Madrugada”, inspired by the poem by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen. It can be seen until April 27 at Solar dos Zagallos in Almada.

From the dawn comes the day, full and clean, in Sophia’s words. May this day take on pure forms. Simultaneously vivid and soft, the sea is always present in the poet’s work. Lines appear in the spaces, first in ink, then in engravings, producing reflections, and integrating structures. Color and shape, volume and light. On the paper lies a promise long thought out during the night.
