A photographer with a distinguished and established career in photography since the 1990s, having authored more than 10 published books. Winner of the First Prize in Visão / BES Photojournalism 2008, a member of the Kameraphoto Collective, and one of the 13 photographers selected for “Entre Imagens,” a Portuguese television program focusing on Portuguese Photography. Regularly collaborates with various publications worldwide and has held exhibitions in cities like Lisbon, Porto, Paris, and Brussels, among others. In recent years, the focus has shifted towards artistic projects, exploring themes such as immigration, belonging, and occupied territories.
Represented in several collections such as the Portuguese State Collection of Contemporary Art / Ministry of Culture, the Novo Banco Photography Collection, the EDP Foundation, the Coimbra Visual Arts Centre, the PLMJ Foundation, the Serralves Library Collection, the Fonseca Macedo Collection, and The Never-Ending Collection.
