A photographer with a distinguished and established career in photography since the 1990s, having authored more than 10 published books. Winner of the First Prize in Visão / BES Photojournalism 2008, a member of the Kameraphoto Collective, and one of the 13 photographers selected for “Entre Imagens,” a Portuguese television program focusing on Portuguese Photography. Regularly collaborates with various publications worldwide and has held exhibitions in cities like Lisbon, Porto, Paris, and Brussels, among others. In recent years, the focus has shifted towards artistic projects, exploring themes such as immigration, belonging, and occupied territories.
Represented in several collections such as Portuguese State Collection of Contemporary Art / Ministry of Culture, Novo Banco Photography Collection, EDP Foundation, Coimbra Visual Arts Centre, PLMJ Foundation, Serralves Library Collection, Glimpse Collection, and The Never-Ending Collection.
